BSN 4
Mustargen therapy is a highly toxic drug that requires the supervision of a Physician expert in
chemotherapeutic agents. This drug is indicated to patients who are suffering from Hodgkin’s
disease. It is also a treatment for palliative chemotherapy in lung and breast cancer. It’s given via
the intravenous route. This drug works by "normal" cells stop dividing when they come into
contact with like cells, a mechanism known as contact inhibition. Cancerous cells lose this
ability. Most patients who are under this drug do not experience any side effects and if they do it
will renounce after treatment.
