V. RATIONALE:

The maintenance and repair of roofs is one of the most common costly items associated with school
buildings. Careful analysis is carried out to ensure that appropriate repairs or renewals are undertaken.

VI. OBJECTIVE/S:

This proposal aims to protect the health and safety of the pupils, teachers and non-teaching personnel
of the building by preventing or reducing deterioration of dilapidated roofing sheets

VIII. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

The total estimated cost for the project from start to completion to meet the standard is Php 25,000.00

IX. SOURCE OF FUNDS: Repair and Maintenance Allocated Budget, which is 15% from School

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SCHEME

Roof structure and sheeting will be repaired as necessary, maintaining existing configuration. Warped
and poorly-fitting to be removed, reworked, and re-installed. Dilapidated Roofing Sheets to be replaced.

PROJECT PROPOSAL

Impact will be the preservation of the original roof configuration and protection of the building’s structural
integrity.

Implementation of the above proposed project is during the school’s summer vacation.
