Compressors Exercises Problem

Name: Gamboa, Ariel C.
Student No. 20151157958
Problem:
A turbo-compressor is a gas turbine plant used to compress 10 kg/s of air from
an initial pressure of 102 kPa to a discharge pressure of 622 kPa with inlet and
discharge temperature of 297 K and 527 K respectively. The compressor inlet
and discharge pipe diameters are 50 cm and 20 cm respectively. Find the inlet
and discharge air velocity. Ans. 42.56 m/s ,77.4 m/s
