COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS

My mom’s creativity allowed us to get into our house. (1) This happened some
years ago, on Christmas Day. (2) We had to leave the house in order to attend a mass, so
my sister locked the door. (3) When we came back after two hours, my mom tried to
unlock the door but it wasn’t possible. (4) My sister had mistaken the padlock we
always used for the entrance door with another one! (5) My mom started thinking about
what we could do so we didn’t have to spend our Christmas night at the street. (6) Then,
she remembered the wall between our rooftop and our neighbor’s was not too high. (7)
She knocked our neighbor’s door and when he opened, my mom explained him the
situation and asked to go to his rooftop. (8) He accepted and got us there. (9) Now, the
only thing we had to do was to cross the small wall and use one of our keys that opened
the door there. That’s how my mom’s creative idea helped us to enter our house!
