2. Define Instruction Cycle and T-State.

3. Explain different types of System bus of Microprocessor 8085.

4. Define a) Accumulator b) 16-bit Registers.

5. What is the function of Instruction register and decoder?

6. Explain the following Instructions.

a) XCHG b) LDA

7. Write an ALP to find ONE’S compliment of a given number.

8. Draw the pin configuration and Architecture of 8085 Microprocessor.

9. Explain the format of flag Register and set status of flag for the instruction – ADD B.
Assuming Register A=20H and Register B = 10H

10. Distinguish peripheral mapped I/O and memory mapped I/O.

11. With Timing diagram explain IOR and OPCODE fetch operation.

12. Write an ALP to find addition and subtraction of two 8-bit Numbers. (Without
Carry/Borrow)

13. Explain how Control Signals are generated.

14. Explain multiplexing and De-multiplexing.
