Scavenger Hunt
Directions:
Starting with the first clue, make your way around campus by following
each clue to a different location. You may be asked to collect an item, take
a picture, or answer a question at each location to prove that you were
there.

Rules:
• You are not allowed to use the internet, unless otherwise directed.
• All locations will take place on North or Central Campus.

Clue #1
Sometimes, lost items end up in the desk until someone comes to retrieve
them. Retrieve your next clue from this location to continue your journey.
 Clue #2
A resting place for students who travel for their education.
A room dedicated to the fight for civil rights.
A great hall that commemorates our heroes.
A stately chamber that honors Salem State’s past leaders.

Each sentence describes a gathering space within the Campus Center.

Add their room numbers together to get the password for the USB drive
and your next clue!
 Clue #3
The Berry Learning Commons contains the library and so much more. Text
me the name of three offices/departments are also housed in the Learning
Commons, besides the library. You may use the SSU website, library
website, and can visit the Learning Commons.
 Clue #4
If a student has a broken laptop, they will head to this office. Text me a
picture of yourselves with the office sign.
 Clue #5
Head to the Navigation Center in the Classroom Building. Located among
the brochures for the nearest pizza place is your next clue.
 Clue #6
The bookstore is located in this building. Text me a picture of the sign
outside the building that shows what businesses also rent space there.
 Clue #7
If you live on campus, this department can help you with roommate
conflicts, getting involved in your residence hall, and has information about
becoming a Resident Assistant. Visit the administrative assistant at their
desk and ask them for the final clue.
 Clue #8
Well done! This concludes the scavenger hunt. Head back to the Student
Life Operations office to “clock out” for today.
