This year we were supposed to be celebrating the 10th annual Gilbert Turkey Trot. We were so excited to share

with you this amazing milestone, but unfortunately in a COVID world we are unable to secure the necessary
permits for our wildly popular Thanksgiving morning family tradition.

But here’s the thing - our charities need us this year more than ever and we need you! We love the tradition of
spending Thanksgiving morning gathered as friends and family and we weren’t about to let that die this year.
We have decided to move forward with the Virtual Gilbert Turkey Trot 9.5 - everyone gathering with their
families on a smaller scale and having mini-races anywhere you want. This means next year when we’re able to
gather together, we can have a large party celebrating our 10th anniversary - you won’t want to miss it!

Please join us this year! Our charity,AZ Brainfood, works so hard to get food to children in need and even though
everything seems to be cancelled this year, hunger has not been cancelled. Your participation in the Gilbert
Turkey Trot 9.5 allows us to continue donating 100% of all race proceeds.

We are offering our virtual race at a lower, modi\ed price that still allows us to give back to the community.
When you sign up, you will receive a shirt and a bib and we encourage you to send us pictures of your family
virtual races. We will have some fun prizes up for grabs for those that participate.
