There are lots of ways in which people see the same situation differently. Sometimes, it is a matter of
perspective such as if two people fail an examination and was disheartened with what had happened
while the other is motivated to do better next time. In this scenario, it can be that one takes the event in
a negative manner as a sad misfortune while the other takes it as an opportunity. However, difference in
views may be due to lack of understanding such as these days, as people are affected by the pandemic,
perhaps some people may be discouraged due to their experiences while others are apathetic because
they are unaffected.

For me, happiness is when I am with my loved ones and we enjoy our time together. I am happy when at
the end of the day, things are okay, there may still be challenges along the way but they will always be
there so that’s okay, and I’ve got my loved ones’ hands to hold, and I’m doing the best I could. On the
other hand, my definition of success is when I go through a lot, now I am past all the hardships and
everything is just worth it.

What determines my happiness is when I reflect on the days that have gone by. Have I done enough?
Am I exerting efforts to help myself grow and also to help other people as well? Am I doing what I love?
Nevertheless, what defines my success is when I explore the world and learn. I don’t think that success
has to be constant triumphs. Success is trying to be better and growing in the process. Success is when
you feel fulfilled and you feel as if you are where you should be at this point in life.
