How aware are you of your Environment

 Have you ever thought of the resources that we have been using for ever to live a
comfortable life style ! Have you ever stopped for a moment and asked yourself in
which direction are you going. For last so many years human did a great job & achieved
much in various fields either its scientific research or rocket science or engineering and
technology which is very appreciable and made our life more easy but nothing is
avialabe for free in this world we have to pay the debts in different ways. Now the
question is how much we have lost in quest of exploring and creation of artificial world.

Environment crises

Technology & infrastructure enhancement

I believe all of you must be familier with environment issues such as global warming
,ozone layer, blackhole, acid rain etc as they are very sensitive issues and must be taught
in schools. According to various reports In 2019 Mumbai the city of dreams was the city
with most traffic jams in this country, Delhi was most polluted city of the world,Fani
cyclone in Orrisa,Tsunami in Chennai and much more disaster occurred in last few
years. IN last 20 years ¼ of the glaciers of antactica has melted and water level of many
sea has been increasing continuously,if such situation continued upto 2050 then most of
the coastal cities such as Chennai, new York,Miami has threat to be submerged in sea
forever also area of sunderban which contribute to maximum greenery and help to
reduce global warming effect is getting reduced and submerged with increasing water
level. Now the question remains how it is going to effect us ?
Migration of population which is one of the biggest threat.people are moving from their
places and migrating toward the cities with all required facilities. Think what if in a city
of 50 thousand people 1.5 lakh migrants came in within a short period of time with
different culture and living life style. Govt. won’t be able to handle such crises as well
people wont be able to tolerate such situation.People live in cities like Delhi are lacking
immunity with time.Pollution causes many lung diseases and effect other organs
indirectly, it reduces fertility and immunity of upcoming child as well. Cases with asthma
& respiratory infection are increasing year by year same as in state like kerela(most
educated state) or orrisa where most of the people doesn’t have access to purified
water will be dying soon from certain various diseases. Farmers in Punjab or other states
are attemting suicides as they are under heavy bank loans but there is so many
uncertainities regarding our environment as there is no rain when required but
hailstorm occur suddenly & drain out all the hard work done by farmers. So every single
activity is connected with environment & we are still not aware of it.At times when such
crises occur govt. get worried and organize protocols and meetings on envirement
issues and sign many treaties such as Montreal protocol but most of the countries
doesn’t invest much to save their environment ,they feel infrastructure ,development
,weapons and military is most important for them to survive. Again the question
remains: Is this the only govt. who is responsible for environment crises ? and the
answer is : “No”, every single person or citizen is responsible for this crises and the
educated one are more responsible.Few of the rich people are living in fools paradise as
they think they have enough money to deal with such crises but they should know such
disaster doesn’t consider your bank balance ,it is going to effect all of us. Jaipur will get
down under the sheet of sand.Delhi will get down under the sheet of pollution.Chennai
will get down under the sheet of water.Mumbai will get down under the sheet of
Garbage & solid waste.Orissa will be converted in draught area, further all of us has to
face the consequences as Human is egoistic & curious and Nature is invincible now
they are trying to confront each other. The time has come when we should step
forward and take action to save our environment before it becomes too late.
Environment study must be compulsory in all the institutions so people become more
aware and consider environment safety precisely or in a disciplined manner.Strict rules
must be made & followed by various departments such as industries and construction.
As rules are always there but nobody go by the book when it comes to their personal
profit. Now a days most of the people are after money & their social status but lack
common sense which is essential to understand such kind of issues.
Conclusion : IF we continued this practice for more 20 yrs as we are going then today
we may have mineral water to drink , fresh air to breathe, fuel to drive energy but our
children won’t be able to access these facilities as they will disappear & sooner then
we think.
