Hello Warriors,

As I am writing today’s Warrior Newsletter I find myself doing one of the most important things I believe a
warrior can do: Reflect.

I believe that it is essential for all of us to reflect and review the day, the week, the month, the year and in a
special case for me this week, our lives. I recommend that you reflect at least once a week for two simple
reasons. First is to make sure that we are not missing any lessons. Second, and more importantly, is to make
sure that what we are thinking and doing is still congruent with the path that we put ourselves on long ago.

During this week, I received a phone call from a dear friend that I had lost touch with almost 20 years ago. This
person had found me and as we talked, we filled each other in on our lives since we had last spoken. Then my
friend gave me the best compliment that I could have gotten, "You are right where I knew you would be. I
wouldn’t have expected anything less".

You see warriors, that told me that this person could recognize that I was still on the warrior path I started on
all those years ago. I had stayed true to myself and to my dreams. During my reflection on this fact, I looked for
the reason and it became simple: my attitude and actions never changed course!

But I talk to so many people that are not where they want to be in life whether it be their job, fitness level,
relationships, etc. They have left the path that they were originally on and did the worst thing:compromised on
their dreams. The great news is that getting back on course is up to you! To illustrate this, I quote one of my
favorite philosopher/psychologists, William James:

"Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their
lives."

"The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his
attitudes of mind."

My challenge this week warriors, is to ask yourself if you are where you want to be in life. Have you left the
path that you were once on? Are you still chasing the dream that still lies deep inside you, or have you
compromised? I promise that all you have to do is start thinking and acting the way you want to become
and you will become what you think about and act out.

Now I am sure that voice in your head is saying, "Well it is not that easy Martin. I just cant start thinking myself
to success." And to that, I answer, WHERE ELSE WOULD YOU START? There is no luck here warriors, and
if you dont believe you can achieve great things or have the life that you dreamed of, then it is not going to
happen!

Whether it is the fact that the world and society has beaten you down into submission, or just straight fear that
you will have to take risks to get to where you want to go, I again offer another brilliant James quote:

"Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact."

Take some time today to reflect on the past week, month, year and decade. Have you done all you could?
Have you stayed true to yourself? If the answer is "yes", stick with it. If the answer is "no", it is up to you to get
yourself back on track. Change your attitude and you will eventually increase your altitude!

Yours in Strength,
