Speech-Language Activities at Home
September
Dear families,
You will find a total of 4 activities to complete during the month of September. It is
recommended that you try one per week, and each activity may be completed
more than once. The skills included in each activity have been chosen by Mrs. Guyer
and Mrs. Meade. If the activity is challenging for your child, you may want to only
try part of it or complete it more than once. It may also be necessary for you to
model the response and have your child repeat it after you. If the activity is
relatively easy for your child, take a look at the extension activity on each page
(“Extend the activity” or “Also try”) to make it more challenging. | have also
included target speech sounds/words that you will want to be sure your child is
using when talking during these activities.
If you have any questions about the activities, please contact Mrs. Meade at
Imeade@oves.org or during school hours at (315) 653-7218.
