Running a team of golf operations staff at a prestigious private golf course in the heart of Muskoka, for the 19 2020 season.
In the manager role I had to delegate tasks amongst the team to fulfill the members needs in the most efficient way.
Roles varied depending on the needs of members, from staging golf tournaments events, cleaning carts and clubs, to attending
to their needs at the range.
We provide shuttles to and from docks as well as private drives, all part of the Oviinbyrd Drives You ODY program.
Large role for myself in my first year included personal caddying for members and fore caddying for guests to the course.

Providing a wide array of hospitality offerings to provide a unique experience catered to the wants and needs of the client.
I started in the server role providing professional and personable experience making the clients feel completely catered for
including bartending, walking through the menu setting clearing tables.
As a sous chef I assisted the head chef in the kitchen from food prep to making sides and cooking proteins to help keep timings
for the meal. This developed my time management, knife skills decision making when making menu changes.

Helping students, Brock staff and guests alike find preference in the various coffee and food options available at General Brock,

Whilst teaching kids between the ages of 6 14 yrs the fundamental skills of golf including the etiquette of the game, I was able
to enhance my demonstration and group teaching skills.
Implementing fun golf relevant activities to break up more focused coaching drills further developed my ability to create
individual exercises to improve swing tempo and ball impact.
When teaching, I developed my ability to give concise and proactive feedback to the players both at an individual level and in
small groups.

Often was solely responsible for the pro shop where I developed proficient Point Of Sale and Tee On Golf systems skills, as well
as, closing the cash and other features of the golf course.
When organising events competitions at the club I utilized my strong interpersonal communication skills between myself and
customers, providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both newcomers and members.
My responsibilities on the g d c e mainly included clearing course off debris, changing tees and tee box maintenance for
which I had to be extremely diligent and have good time management.

Ran and orchestrated the fan zone as well as Game day giveaways including: parachute drops, selling programs and team
sheets which I learnt a great deal about the operations of pro sport prior to game time, during and after.
Sales of River Lions merchandise courtside as well as pre game set up and post game pack up. Half time events including kids
zone and half court shots etc. This enhanced my teamwork abilities and especially time management, ensuring everything
happens at the right moment which is crucial during game time.

Opening closing the business and the tasks associated, prepping and cooking at a high standard, lighting keeping fire up to
temperature including most responsibilities that come with running the van on an evening service. This developed my
leadership and organisational skills.
Updated and posted on the businesses social media pages Facebook, Twitter developed some level of marketing skill,
learning how to communicate and sell to the public through social online forums.
In my term working at Stoked Kitchen I Gained a large amount of pride in my work ensuring each order was cooked to the best
of my ability. Developed a great sense of loyalty to my team and the business as a whole, making me a very dependable member
of staff.

Prepared the golf course each morning prior to the first tee time to the specifications and requirements of The Duke of
Richmond and superintendent, as well as general course maintenance throughout the rest of the day.
The delegation of the tasks amongst the team ensured jobs were completed with the greatest efficiency. This grew my
teamwork and communication skills. Learnt and demonstrated proper radio etiquette when relaying potential issues.
