I was a hockey counsellor and camp counsellor at the prominent KenMont

There, I taught street hockey such as the basics of shooting, passing,
stick handling, cycling the ball (puck) and worked with the goalies. I
mostly dealt with kids experiencing hockey for the first time however, I
still had outstanding state team players who I worked out with. I was
promoted to the Head of Hockey for the camp in July and would continue

My classmates and I volunteered to travel to Nicaragua for 12 days to do

missionary work. Our team took on the task of helping an isolated
community by building a school and playground for the children. On this
trip we performed hard labor in an atmosphere containing poverty and
extreme heat as well as interacting with the joyful children of the village
of El Trapiche. It was an amazing and rewarding experience seeing a
different region of the world.
