2.

A. What difficulties are they experiencing in teaching?

For lack of background regarding the principles and mechanisms related to teaching, the two
teachers interviewed both experienced difficulties in the teaching strategies and resources. Also they
have had experienced difficulties with regards to the forms prescribed and other requirements such as
in lesson planning and formulating the syllabus.

B. Do they agree that a four-year teacher education course is a better preparation for the teaching
profession?

With the interview, two opposing point-of-views were obtained. With regards the first
interviewee, he answered to the affirmative because according to him it is impractical to cram all
preparatory courses in for a bachelors in education degree to a time frame lesser than 4 years. On the
other point-of-view of the second interviewee, he answered to the negative. According to him, it takes a
lifetime to teach the true essence and application of education in society. Though it depends on the
instructor or the student or the course, preparation that will involve learning for children requires more
than what has been established in the tertiary educational systems and curriculums.
