A VISIT TO DYANDEEP BALGRUHA

NAME: NAINA DASOUNI

ROLL NO.: C-33

PRN: 19020441157

I’ve been through many community outreaches before.

But for an orphanage in particular, it was my first time.
The moment I entered DNYADEEP BALGRUHA
orphanage, I felt both happy and sad at the same time-
the little faces smiling, cheering with big curious eyes
couldn’t conceal the latent gloominess in their hearts.
Their eyes each told a story. A story of loss and despair.
Each set of eyes reflected a haunted little soul beneath.

These children are really talented; some of them good at

singing and some good at dancing and some just have
enough talent to gather your attention in a millisecond!
Simply observing their talent makes you feel happy and
you wish you could spend as much time with them as possible. I almost cried when the kids gave
us two special numbers. In one of those special numbers they danced for us and in the other they
sang for us. Older children of the orphanage are doing really well in life. Some of them are
dancers others professional painters, interior design students, BCA students in colleges of Pune
etc.

It is a well-known fact and that every person has a ‘natural child’ inside of him and this visit
brought out that little child. It was time for back to school games like hand claps, tic tac toe,
antaakshri, stupid pranks and many more.

I think that all should visit an orphanage and see the beautiful children who are thirsty for our
love. Let us all try to do something for these lovely angels. Visiting them will rid us of all
depressions and frustrations and will give a new meaning to our lives. Personally, I never felt
sorry for the children. All I felt was pride and excitement. Just looking forward for them to grow
up and take over the world!
