adjustable ring, ch 1, and sc 6 into the ring. Pull closed.

Rnd 2: *(2 Sc into next st, sc into next st), rep from * to end of rnd (18 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc into each st.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Set aside.Insert dowel rod into the Head at the base, pushing in between stitches until secure.
Insert other end of the rod into the neck of the Body, working it into the stuffing inside
to hold securely. Use the tail from the neck to sew Head to Body. Weave in ends.
Legs:
Starting at waist and with yarn B and an E hook, ch 18. SI st to first chain to form a
ring
Rnd 1: Sc into each st (18 sts)
Rnd 2: *(Sc2tog, sc into next 7 sts), rep from * to end of rnd (16 sts)
First Leg:
Rnd 3: Sc into next 8 sts, skip next 8 sts (8 sts)
* This will split the piece in two, creating the first leg. Continue crocheting into only
these 8 stitches of the leg.
Rnd 4: Sc into first st of Rnd 3 and next 7 sts (8 sts)
Rnd 5: 2 Sc into next st, sc into next 7 sts (9 sts)
Rnds 6-8: Sc into each st.
Rnd 9: Sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog twice, sc into next 3 sts (7 sts)
Rnd 10: Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts (8 sts)

Sew Legs to Body and weave in ends.
Shoe Sole (Make 2):
With yarn D and an E hook, ch 6.
Rnd 1: Sc into 2nd ch from hook and next 3 chs, (2 hdc, de, 2 hdc) into next st, sc into
next 4 sts, 2 sc in last st, sl st into next st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing
Thread tail onto a yarn needle and sew Soles to Legs, stuffing legs firmly as you go.
Weave in ends.Skirt:
Row 1: With yams B and C held together, ch 18, with a
long beginning tail for sewing later. Hdc into 3rd ch, hdc
into next 14 chs, 2 hdc into last (17 sts)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc into next 16 sts, 2 hdc last (18
sts)
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, 2 hdc into next st, hdc into each st
across (19 sts)
Row 4: Ch 2, turn, 2 hde into next st, hdc into each st
across (20 sts)
Row 5: Ch 2, turn, hdc across, 2 hdc in last st (21 sts)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Use
beginning tail to sew Skirt to waist. Weave in ends. Use
finishing tail to stitch Skirt together along seam.
Arms (Make 2):
Rnd 1: Beg at hand end of Arm with A and E hook, make
an adjustable ring, ch 1, and sc 3 into ring. Gently, but
firmly, pull tail to close ring,
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around (6 sts)
Rnds 3-4: Sc in each sc around
Rnd 5: Make bobble in next st, sc into next 5 sts (6 sts)
Rnds 6-13: Sc into each st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail. Arms don't need to be
stuffed. Set aside.
Cut a length of wire approximately 8" long. Bend one end into a loop small enough to
run into the Arm. Insert the loop into the top of the Arm and thread all the way down
into the hand end. Insert the other end of the wire into the Body at the shoulder area
as shown, and out through the other side. Bend the tip of the wire into a loop and
insert into the top of the second Arm. Stitch Arms to Body with matching yarn and a
yarn needle, fully encompassing the wire. Weave in ends.
Cardigan:
Row 1: With yarn E and an E hook, ch 22. Hdc into 3rd ch and next 19 chs (20 sts)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc into 3 sts, hdc2tog, hdc 10 sts, hdc2tog, hdc 3 sts (18 sts)
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, hdc into 8 sts, hdc2tog, hdc into 8 sts (17 sts)
Row 4: Ch 2, turn, hde2tog, hdc 13 sts, hdc2tog (15 sts)
Row 5: Ch 2, turn, hdc into 2 sts, 2 hdc into next st, hde into 9 sts, 2 hde into next st,

Fasten off and weave in ends.
Repeat for second sleeve.
Put Cardigan on doll. Stitch center closed with yarn E. Weave in ends.
Hair:
The Hair is a crocheted hair cap that fits over the head. Long strands of untwisted
bulky yellow yarn are hooked into it.
Rnd 1: With yarn F and E hook, make an
adjustable ring, ch 1, sc 6 into ring. Pull tail to
close ring (6 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 Sc into each st (12 sts)
Rnd 3: *(2 Sc into next st, sc into next st), rep
from * to end of rnd (18 sts)
Rnd 4: *(2 Sc into next st, sc into next 8 sts),
ep from * to end of rnd (20 sts)
Rnds 5-6: Sc into each st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail
Fit Hair over Head, positioning it tilted back
on the Head. Stitch into place with a yarn
needle and the yarn tail
Cut 25-30 5" lengths of yarn G. Untwist each
strand to make a curly set of strands. Fold
each strand in half. Insert hook into stitch on
Hair cap, pull up a folded loop of yarn, and
pull ends through loop with hook. Repeat
around front of hairline and down side part,
and along back of head at the crown. Refer
to photo.
Thread a yarn needle with yarn F and stitch
long loose straight stitches around the front for bangs.Ear (Make 2):
With yarn A and an E hook, make an adjustable ring, ch 1, sc 3 into ring. Pull tail to
close ring. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing
Thread the yarn tail into a yarn needle and position ear onto head, overlapping hair
cap and the head, lining up with the eyes on
the side of the head. Refer to photo for
placement. Weave in ends.
Headband:
With yarn E, ch 15. Fasten off and use yarn
tail to sew ends onto head behind Ears.
Glasses:
Using the Head as reference, bend wire
into the glasses shape, following photo for
shaping. Poke ends of wire into sides of
head above ear. Use one strand of brown
thread and embroidery needle to secure
Glasses to front of face.
Finishing:
‘Sew two tiny buttons to the front of the
Cardigan with matching thread.
Referring to photo, use one strand of black
embroidery floss to stitch three tiny straight
stitches at sides of eyes for eyelashes
Cut a small smile shape from white felt and glue into place with craft glue. Thread a
yarn needle with hot pink yarn and make a two loose straight stitches above and
below the teeth. Use a tiny amount of craft glue if necessary to secure. Refer to photo.
With brown embroidery floss, straight stitch two tiny eyebrows.
Using a cotton swab or your pinky finger, apply a bit of pink blush to cheeks, rubbing in
tiny circles.
