1. Business Requirements

1.1 Background

Whenever we get sick and have to visit a good doctor we face a lot of problems while searching
a well-reputed doctor. We have to search a lot of data over the internet or we have to investigate
other people to suggest us a good doctor. When we select a doctor the first problem we face is to
trace his/her timings because we don't know in which hospital he will be available in which
timings. The second one and the most important problem we face to get an appointment is that
either we have to visit a hospital to get an appointment and then come back to the hospital again
or get an appointment and sit there and waste a whole day waiting for our time. Our third
problem is that when we want to visit a doctor in another city or a doctor that is far away from us
we have to visit him and destroy our day. And the last one is that in some cases we face problem
to trace the location of a hospital.

1.2 Business Opportunity

Many People have requested a system by which they are able to find a good and well-reputed
doctor. They also can take appointment from the system before visiting any hospital that will
save their time and also they can take an online consult with the specific doctor through video
call which will also save their time and suffer if they are away from the city or if the patient is
not able to sit in the hospital and wait for the doctor. By this system we can also ask a simple
question from doctor without getting an appointment through question area. By this system we
can also check the hospital location easily.

1.3 Business Objectives

BO-1: It will save user’s time.

BO-2: It will help people to find a good doctor.
BO-3: It will help to stay connected with a doctor even if they are far away from a him.
BO-4: It will also help to take a good suggestion from a good doctor by asking question in
question area.
BO-4: It will also help people to find the location of the hospital that will save their time and
energy also

1.4 Success Metrics

SM-1: Max Patients use this Software to get ease in their daily life.

SM-2: People get online consultant even if they are not able to go to the hospital even in the
situation of pandemic that we are facing currently

1.5 Vision Statement

For people who want checkup from the doctor either from hospital or online they are able to take
checkup easily and quickly from well-reputed doctor, the Appointment system is an Internet-
based and smartphone-enabled application that will accept individual or group appointments,
process payments, and trigger report of the patient to track record. Unlike the current manual
appointment system, people who use the Online Appointment System will not have to go to the
hospital to get appointments, which will save them time and will increase the doctor availability
time.

1.6 Business Risks

RI-1: Too few people might use the system, reducing the return on investment from the system
development and the changes in appointment procedures.

RI-2: Might be possible doctors does not create their profile as they were too busy in their daily
routine and their current patients

RI-3: Doctors are not free whole day they cannot accept the Online appointment request quickly
and users will not sure either they get appointment for today or tomorrow

RI-4: Other reports of the user can be transferred to the doctor online but when it comes to X-
rays and such things user have to visit the doctor because it cannot be seen on a picture
 1.7 Business Assumptions and Dependencies

AS-1: Systems with appropriate user interfaces will be available for people to process the
expected appointment procedure.

AS-2: Doctors are totally available on platform to accept and reject the patient requests.

DE-1: If a hospital has its own management system, the online appointment System must be able
to communicate with it bidirectionally.

This system is a hybrid application and also a latest version. This system responsive for all
device and you can use using mobile, tablet, laptop and personal computer. These devices could
be IOS or Android. This system can be used by any user who want to find doctors and get
appointments. Manual would be provided for user guidance.
