Differentiation activities: Phonological awareness

Low level The students will be having a worksheet that has a flower shape in the middle of the flower
there will be a letter. They will also have cards that have different objects based on the story that the
teacher read for them. First, the students will pick a card a will look at the object in the card, and will
think this object it first letter starts with what for example the student will pick a heart and then he will
know that heart starts with the letter H and then he will put the heart card on the flower the in the
middle have H and then he will continue doing the same for the other objects.

Middle level The students will be having a bubble gum masing worksheet and above the worksheet,
there will be a bottle and also that will have a coloured cotton ball that looks like bubble gum and they
will have different flash cards that have different words and different pictures of the characters. First,
the student will pick one flash card and will read the word and when he will read the flash card for
example he will choose monkey he will say mon clap and then key and clap so the word monkey has
two syllables so he will pick one cotton ball that looks like bubble gum and will put it in the bubble gum
machine that has two number under it.
High level The students will be having a corn shape that will have different rhyming for example ing,
ed, ty. And also, they will have different papers that look like ice cream flavours which has different
words.
Fist the student will pick on paper the ice cream flavour and will read the word above it and will see the
ice cream corn and will look at the rhyming word for example he will pick the word something and will
look at the last letters of the words which is for example “ing” then he will put the corn that has above
it the rhyming word he will put his flavor above the ing rhyming word and he will continue doing the
same for the rest of the papers.

Differentiation activities: Phonics and letters knowledge

Low level The students will have two worksheets Infront of them
First worksheet will contain four pictures which are “Apple, River, Crocodile and a Monkey”.
Students have to write their name, guess the pictures name from the story they had “The
Monkey & The Crocodile”.
Second sheet will have the four letters in circles with the letters in capital and small letters.
The Student have to Cut the letters and Paste them in the first sheet above the pictures in their
right place. Each letter with the matching picture, For example (Aa, Apple).
After they finish this part, The Students will have to find the letters A,M,C,R sound in capital
and small letters and Trace over them carefully with two different colouring markers. Capital
Letter with a colour and small letter with a different colour.

Middle level For the Middle-Level, The students will have a worksheet which contain pictures
from the story, students have to see the letters and colour the beginning sound of the picture
using colouring marker.

The worksheet have four pictures from the story which is “The Monkey & The Crocodile”.

High level High-Level students will have a worksheet which contain six different pictures from
“The Monkey & The Crocodile” Story.
