Warm-up
Greeting kids and following the daily classroom routine-Pairing up with their clock buddy
Entry Slip: What did you learn last lesson?
Introduction
Pairs are asked to read a text including some underlined verbs and try to guess the difference between them.
Teacher will elicit the outcome from students and have them divide it into different categories.
Students try to compile the similar verbs together on a newspaper sheet.
Presentation
Teacher provide the students with extended elaboration and more examples after eliciting their outcome.
Students think of examples and recap on the three types of verbs.
Students form their own.
Teacher elicits the students understanding of the text and checks understanding.
Practice
Students answer the text book’s drills.
Students write a summary of the text using the new words introduction.
Students puts a sticky note with verbs under the correct verb type and put them in new sentences.
Summary/ Review (5min.) So what did we do today?
Learned how to divide verbs into3 different types.

Reading a text for making summary , and identifying different types of verbs.

Students are asked to think of their favorite movie/book and analyze its elements of literature as instructed in the

Students read a short story as assigned and write a brief analysis of the elements included.
