Subject: Guarantee Letter for Importation of IGBT Modules

Dear Sir/Madam,
It shall be referred that Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation has signed a contract ref.No.33.20/12/09
with HYDROCHINA-CGCOC JV for the construction of Adama II Wind Power project on Oct11, 2012.
Recently, EEP has imported a batch of IGBT modules with the commercial invoice no. of ADAMA2-
IMP-HY-INV-20-004 and the Airway bill no. of 071-37887802, and Declaration No.: 4-018628/2020 for
the purpose of smooth operation and maintenance of Adama II Wind Farm Project. And due to the
upgrading of customs system for paperless, this cargo is still under the process of application for Bank
Permit from Single Window System recently which will take several days for approval. And due to the
urgent necessity on site for this batch of cargo, we, EEP, sincerely request that your esteemed office could
release the above-mentioned cargo and we will guarantee to submit all the related documents related to
this cargo after we complete the application from the system.
