As of July 2020 GSA’s NTS database
showed:

• Band 3 is the most used FDD band

with Band 3 assignments granted
to over 52% of all LTE operators.
Licences for Bands 7 and 20 each
assigned to more than 200 operators.

• 265 licences awarded to use TD-LTE

bands. Bands 38, 40 and 42 the most
used TDD bands for LTE.
