1. What is Business Ethics? Why is it important?


Business ethics this are the moral principles that ac as guidelines for a business to conducts
itself and its transactions. An example of Business ethics when a moral rules are applied by a
corporation to determine how to best to treat the employees, shareholders and customers.
Business ethics is also a form of applied ethics or professional ethics. It examines the ethical
principles and moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business environment. Business
ethics is important especially for employees because it can make better decisions in less time
with the guiding principle of Business ethics.

2. Why is corruption an unwanted activity in a country like the Philippines?


Corruption in the Philippines or in any country is always unwanted. It causes the citizens of a
nation to lose their trust in their government. They lose their trust because of the government
who doesn’t have a guideline of principles to govern the Philippines to not have a unwanted
activity which is the corruption. Because of the weak moral and spiritual foundation of the
Philippines corruption and the indifference of people who act as if they are not concerned.
Also because there aren’t enough honest men committed to go after the corrupt.

3. What is meant by “the consumer’s right to be safe”?


The meaning of “the consumer’s right to be safe” is consumers should be able to assume that
the products they buy are safe for their purpose when used. It also means the right to be
protected against the marketing of goods and services, which is dangerous. Consumers expect
that there products are safe therefore, they have a right to be safe. The safety rights of the
consumers will affect a business because if there is a problem about the product it will lead to
legal issues. So, customers have a very important right it is to be safe from all the hazardous to
life and property.
