Grating
Materials: Treatment/Colour:
Mild Steel Grating
Mild Steel (M):
• Galvanised (G) (AS/NZS 4680)
Recommended for high impact, high load applications where economy • Bitumen Dipped (B)
and strength are paramount. • Painted (P)
Grating is manufactured from a minimum of Grade 250 Mild Steel • Untreated (U)
(or equivalent). Australian manufactured product meets AS3679.1 2010
requirements. Stainless Steel Grating
• Standard is Electropolished (E),
Aluminium (A): • Mill Finish (M) is also available
Recommended where light weight is important and where quality of
appearance is paramount. Material 6063-T6 Aluminium Grating
• Anodised (A)
Stainless Steel (S): • Powder Coated (PC)
Recommended where rust resistance or hygienic environment is • Painted (P)
required. ASTM A240 GR316. • Mill finish (M)
As mandated by AS1657, the use of 10 x 10mm square bar cleats Treatment/Colour M = Mill Finish
must be used for additional security on slopes >10. A = Anodised
ISO14122.1 recommends cleats between 10° and 20°. PC = Powder Coated
Top Surface P = Plain
S = Serrated
(not avail. for load bars 20mm deep or 6mm thick)

Standard Panel Sizes: Considerations when choosing Stock Panels
Mild Steel Grating • Utilise the Quick Flooring Guide to choose the most appropriate
The standard range of panel sizes are;
combination of Pattern and Load Bar, for your application.
Code Panel Size • Add codes for options; Material, Top Surface, Treatment/Colour
12 1000 x 5800 span • Select a standard panel size or provide details of custom sizes
13 1200 x 5800 span *sourced from WA (see below)
14 900 x 5800 span * sourced from NZ
Other sizes are available on request.
6m panels available on request.
Panels can be cut and fabricated to order. Considerations when choosing
Custom Panels
Aluminium Grating
The standard range of Aluminium panel size:

Custom panels can be manufactured in load bar multiples See website for terminology
up to 1200mm wide. • Panel sizes are specified in Width & Span
(Span is always the last dimension)

span. Please enquire at branch.
• As standard, Webforge wont match cross rods.
Panel sizes are nominal. Dimensions will vary slightly according to load bar
thickness and the pattern.
*NB. Panel widths should be in load bar multiples.
