Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) III
Operators remain better informed of machine status with
EMS III. The powerful monitoring and diagnostic
capabilities include:
• Continuous tracking of all critical machine parameters
• Warnings/alerts for abnormal conditions
• Data retrieval or adjustment of more than 200 system
parameters using the Cat Electronic Technician
(Cat ET) service tool

Automatic Voltage Regulation

• Idle speed is raised when low system voltage is detected
and grader is at low idle for five minutes
• Ensures adequate system voltage
• Improves battery reliability by avoiding deep cycling
conditions

Automatic Engine Deration

Protects your engine and your investment by lowering
engine torque output and alerting the operator if any
of the following conditions are detected:
• High altitude
• High coolant temperature
• High inlet air temperature
• Low engine oil pressure
• High turbocharger boost pressure
