The Differences Between This Paper and Others

Every people have their own point of view about this Domino Theory. Then,

everyone can produce different topic about this theory. So, our group also produce this one

topic about this theory regarding on the Vietnam-US conflict.

For our paper, we write about the overview of The Domino’s Theory on Vietnam-US

Conflict. So, this article focuses on the possible effects of what could happen if South

Vietnam falls as mentioned above.

In this article, we have reviewed multiple academic resources that discuss the domino

theory. The articles mentioned about the possible suspicion that the domino theory was all

around connected, the discoveries of the post-World War 2, political circumstances and the

application of domino theory toward south Vietnam. Based on these, a comparison will be

made based on the Malaysian context. The comparison will help to reflect what could have

happen to Malaysia if the conflict was not resolved and southeast asia as a whole.

The history of the domino theory between Vietnam and US serves as the platform for

others to contemplate about the positive and negative effects that would happen if the issue

continues till today. This, too, applies to Malaysia, that is the neighbouring countries of

Vietnam. Malaysia plays an important role to keep the ties in a good shape. To add, this

article also mentioned about the possible ways to help maintaining the ties and what the

government could done to prevent further damages.

If the ties were broken, then Malaysia would be directly affected by both of the

countries. As this article helps to provide the outcomes of the conflict, the results would be

the opposite of what have been mentioned if the ties were broken. In addition, the overview

of the Vietnam-US ties will be applied to the Malaysian context too.


In conclusion, this article differs from other articles as the Malaysian perspectives of

the issues are being discussed in this article.
