Lansing, MI – 10:00AM EST

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The 2020 General Election contest in Michigan was one of the most monumental in living history.
We have seen record levels of turnout, record levels of civic engagement, and thousands of voters
have reached out to the Legislature to demand a thorough investigation in order to improve
transparency in this election.

There are also high numbers of eyewitnesses who have written, signed, and executed affidavits
alleging voter fraud. Credible witnesses have made allegations that implicate our poll books,
records, processes, and more. There are numerous irregularities that have been witnessed, and a
variety of claims that must properly be investigated by the Michigan Legislature to fulfill our duty
to the public to ensure the integrity of our elections.

The people of Michigan deserve fair and transparent elections. We the undersigned are asking for
a complete forensic assessment to the satisfaction of the adverse party, conducted impartially by a
bonded non-partisan third party corporation, for the most contested counties, as guaranteed in
Article 2 Section 4 of the Michigan Constitution. This assessment must include more than a mere
recount, since a recount will be limited to only ballot boxes that are balanced and sealed.

We ask for a vote on a resolution to grant the Oversight Committee subpoena power to compel
any person necessary to appear before that committee to answer questions related to the Michigan
elections to address irregularities, chain of custody problems, statistical anomalies, among other
things. We also demand the immediate halt to the destruction of any election materials, including
electronic materials.

Under relevant Michigan law, MCL 168.811, the County Clerks are authorized to start destroying
the records of ballots after 30 days from the date the vote was certified by the canvassing board,
which was Monday November 23, 2020. Time is of the essence.

This work must be started and completed immediately because of its implications for our state,
and our country.
