Definitions
✗ pH- the measurement of the acidity of a substance
✗ Base- pH higher than 7 (soap, bleach, and eggs)
✗ Neutral- pH of 7 (water)
✗ Acid- a pH less than 7 (coke and coffee)
✗ Substance- a particular kind of matter with uniform
properties.
✗ Litmus Paper- indicator if substance is an acid, base,
or neutral
