linguistic differences between them. Nowadays, social networking sites are a significant
part of everyday interaction.

Sociolinguists and scientists have been focusing on one of the subjects which is linguistic
differences between men and women for a long time. However according to (Csepes, et al.,
2015), our daily experiences with both groups indicate variations in their communicative
forms and behaviors. The linguistic variations between the genders are the reflection of
emotions. Currently, social networking sites are an integral aspect of daily interaction.

4. Several studies have been conducted to explore gender emotion stereotypes within different
contexts. For instance, Plant, et al. (2000) examine gender stereotypes of emotions, and
their relationship to the emotional expressions produced by both of them. The study is
conducted on 117 undergraduate students who fill two questionnaires based on Fabes and
Martin's (1991) questionnaire. The results illustrate that there are several emotions believed
to be expressed by women more often than men such as happiness, love, and surprise. On
the other hand, anger, sadness, and pride are emotions believed to be expressed more by
men.

Several experiments have been undertaken to investigate gender-emotional stereotyping in

various ways, such as examine gender stereotyping of emotions and their relationships to
the emotional reactions generated by both of them. A research based on Fabes and Martin's
(1991) survey was undertaken among 117 undergraduate students who completed two
questionnaires. The findings reveal that there are a variety of feelings assumed to be
displayed by women more frequently than men, such as joy, love and surprise. Across the
other hand, rage, sorrow, and pride are feelings thought to be more displayed by men.
