Terms & Conditions – CAFU Campaign

 The offer is specifically targeted to customers who have received the offer communication through emailer, SMS
or any other channel as chosen by the bank.

 To avail the offer, customers would need to opt in by sending SMS CAFU to 4266 from their registered mobile
number anytime during the offer period.

 The offer is valid from 01st Oct till 31st Dec, 2020 and customers can opt in anytime during the offer period.

 Customers will get 10% back every month as Smiles points on spends done at CAFU during the offer period
using CBD Credit Cards. Bonus Smiles points are capped at 12,500 points per customer per month (i.e. value of
up to AED 100). Smiles points can be redeemed for Etisalat bill payments, electronics, travel and much more
through Smiles UAE app.

 This campaign will result in an incremental value back as Smiles points for Super Saver cardholders.

 “Smiles UAE” means the rewards program created, maintained and managed by Etisalat where Cardholders will
earn Smiles Points based on Qualifying Transactions and redeem Smiles Points for payment for Etisalat services,
discounts, offers and other benefits through the Smiles mobile application

 “Smiles Membership” means the membership under Smiles UAE, created directly by Cardholders on the Smiles
mobile application, Smiles website (https://smiles.etisalat.ae) or created by Etisalat on behalf of Cardholders
based on the information provided by the Bank which was last updated by the Cardholder.

 “Smiles Points” means the reward points under the Smiles Membership that are earned by Cardholders based
on Qualifying Transactions and can be redeemed for payment for Etisalat services, discounts, offers and other
benefits through the Smiles mobile application.

 Customer will be eligible for a single payout of Smiles points on spends done on their credit cards after the
campaign period subject to meeting the campaign criteria.

 Transaction date as opposed to posting date will be considered for calculating customer’s Smiles points eligibility.
Smiles Points will be credited to all qualifying customers Smiles account within 60 days of campaign end date.

 Commercial Bank of Dubai reserves the right to change the form or amount of the reward and/or the method in
which reward is awarded to the eligible credit cardholder at any time at its sole discretion.

 Spends made on supplementary cards will be included in the overall card account level spends for Smiles Points
eligibility calculation.

 Any purchase reversals, refund or disputed transactions will be excluded from the offer.

 Commercial Bank of Dubai reserves the right to disqualify the account holder at any time from the campaign at its
sole discretion and without notice.

 Commercial Bank of Dubai reserves the right to contact the customer by callout, SMS, emailer or any other
means as deemed appropriate by the bank at any time as part of this campaign.

 Commercial Bank of Dubai reserves the right to exclude any cardholder from participating in the offer before,
during or after the promotion without giving any reason whatsoever for disqualification from the offer.

 Commercial Bank of Dubai reserves these rights to amend the terms and conditions anytime during or after the
promotion period with the latest T&Cs being available on www.cbd.ae

 In no event shall Commercial Bank of Dubai or any of its affiliates, officers, directors, employees or any staff be
liable for any loss, damage or expense arising out of or otherwise related to this offer.

 These Terms & Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the standard Commercial Bank of Dubai Credit Card
Terms & Conditions and the campaign participating customers understand and unconditionally agree to be bound
by these once they send an SMS to register for the promotion.

 The offer along with the Terms & Conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the
United Arab Emirates.

Smiles UAE

Cardholder understands and unconditionally accepts that Smiles UAE is a rewards program created, maintained and
managed by Etisalat at its sole discretion and governed by its own Terms and Conditions as published on
https://smiles.etisalat.ae

Enrollment into Smiles UAE

Cardholder understands and unconditionally accepts and gives the bank the consent to the following:

Enrollment into Smiles UAE is at the sole discretion of Etisalat and is governed by Smiles UAE Terms and Conditions as
published on https://smiles.etisalat.ae

1. Cardholder consents to and authorizes the Bank to share any and all information relevant to and/or required by
Etisalat to enroll the Cardholder into Smiles UAE and create a Smiles Membership for the mobile number
provided wherever one does not already exist OR
2. The information shared by the Bank may include but is not restricted to Cardholder’s name, nationality, email
address, gender and UAE Resident Identity Card details.

Enrollment into Smiles UAE is done primarily using the Cardholder’s mobile number provided to the Bank:

3. If the Cardholder’s mobile number is already enrolled with Smiles UAE then the existing Smiles Membership
mapped to that mobile number will be used by the bank to credit Smiles points subject to customer meeting the
campaign criteria as defined in this document.

4. If the Cardholder’s mobile number is not enrolled with Smiles UAE, then a new Smiles Membership will be
created by Etisalat and mapped to the mobile number which is registered with the bank.

5. If the Cardholder is already enrolled in Smiles with a mobile number that is classified by Etisalat as a “Etisalat
Consumer Number” and subsequently as part of the Card Program, provides a mobile number that is classified by
Etisalat as an “Etisalat Enterprise Number” or as a “Non-Etisalat Number”, two independent Smiles Memberships,
shall exist for the Cardholder within Smiles UAE. Smiles Points earned on Qualifying Transactions will be credited
to the latter Smiles Membership and cannot be combined with any accumulated Smiles Points in the already
existing Smiles Membership.
