Possible causes:
wrong adjustment of crucible opening time
valve Y11 defective,
crucible sensor defective

To check out the crucible opening time it is required to use the “service mode 3” . To switch on the service mode keep the
“3”-key pressed while you switch on the device until the display shows the software version.
Now press the “ casting key “ .
Right after pressing the casting key the display will show you the crucible opening time.
After pressing the “cast “ key again you release the cylinder and the “cast” key can be pressed
again to lift the cylinder for checking the opening time again .
The value should be between 15 and 17 .
If the values are different to the original adjustment correct them to the values showed below.
If you should not be able to adjust the value for the crucible opening time correctly (Y11) the valve is defective and need
to be replaced.

Unplug the power connector and remove the pressure supply before you start
work!

Replacement of crucible opening sensor

Remove the earth connector and

disassemble the main switch by pressing
Unplug the display connector the clamp and pull out the back of the
switch.

Now you can lift and remove the top cover.

Removing of cover of crucible chamber

Remove the 4 screws and loose the earth connector.

If the turn handle is removed you can pull the cover
forward to remove it.
The proximity switch which controls the crucible lifting is
marked with “A” on the picture

Exchange of the crucible lifting sensor (proximity switch)

Remove the cover of crucible chamber as shown

above.
Loose the counter nuts (1) and turn out the
sensor(2).
Follow the cable of the proximity switch and
disconnect it. Connect the new one and place it
like the old one aligned to the door (3).

Exchange of the valve for crucible opening time (Y11)

Remove the top cover as shown on page 2. Loose the counter nut (A) and unplug the pressure
tubes (B) to remove the valve. Mount the new valve and follow the adjustment instructions on page
1. Spare part number: 14153
