SIR:

Greetings!

I am _____________________, Police Corporal currently assigned in Logistics Department of


Navotas Police District. I write to you this letter to humbly request for a transfer of assignment to a police
station located in the province of Pangasinan.

There are a few personal reasons on why I am initiating this request. My family resides in our
home in Poblacion, Basista, Pangasinan. My wife who is also employed in the government service is
required by her job to be constantly assigned in various district offices away from our home and no one
will look after our two (2) young children. I used to travel from Manila to Pangasinan vice versa just to
visit my family. I pity myself because I usually spend time with them for only a couple of hours and will
be travelling back again to my workplace.

I am very grateful to be part of the PNP workforce and very thankful for the salary that I receive.
It would be more beneficial to me and my family if the proximity of our home to my workplace will be
considered, and I could save my hard-earned money which is regularly consumed for my meals, lodging
and transportation expenses.

It would be a great favor if you will consider my request on this matter for my whole well-being
and for my family.
