as best as they can.

Day 3 Students will be able to
understand the falls of these
three empires in order to
understand how these empires
came to an end. This knowledge
will help them to create a poster
about the falls of each empire.
Students will be split into six groups
to create a poster on a big sticky note
pad. They will write/illustrate how
their assigned empire fell. (2 groups
for each empire. About 4 students
per group.)

Evaluative Criteria Day 2 Kahoot Game

For this Kahoot game, a ​full credit grade​ ​(3 points)​, includes:
● Complete participation in the game.
● This grade will be solely based on participation and effort.
● Students must answer every question and remain engaged.
● Any time students spend on their phone that is not on Kahoot will be punishable
with a 0 after a warning.
For this Kahoot game, a ​partial credit grade (2 points)​, includes:
● Missing questions in the game/not participating in a small portion of the game.
● Causing a minor disruption during the game.
● Not being a team player (sore winner, sore loser).
For this Kahoot game, a ​no credit grade (0 points)​, includes:
● Missing more than half of the questions/not participating in the game.
● Causing a big disruption during the game.
 Evaluative Criteria Day 3 - Fall of the Empires Posters
Note: Each group member must participate in this assignment. If all members are not
cooperative, each member of the group will be graded individually based on their
participation in the assignment. I will be walking around to check on the groups during
class.
For this poster, a ​full credit grade​ ​(5 points)​, includes:
● All members of the group participate in the creation of the poster in some way
(either giving information, writing, drawing, etc).
● The date and geographic location of the assigned empire must be visible on the
poster.
● The poster includes attributes of the assigned empire.
● The poster accurately describes the fall of the assigned empire.
● The poster is decorative and neat. Students must make the presentation of their
material look organized and creative.

● The poster is missing a geographic location and/or date
● The poster does not include attributes of the empire.
● The poster does not accurately describe the fall of the assigned empire.
● Misinformation is presented.
● An individual grade can be 3 points because of a lack of participation within the
group.

● The poster is missing three or more of the requirements listed.
● The poster has a large amount of misinformation presented.
● An individual member of the group did not participate in the creation of the
