Information:
On December 10, 2020, the Huntington County Prosecutor’s Office filed criminal
charges against 33 year-old Nicholas Johnson in the Huntington Circuit Court.
Nicholas Johnson is charged with crimes that include child seduction, a Level 5
felony, child seduction, a Level 6 felony, kidnapping, a Level 6 felony, and
identity deception, a Level 6 felony. An arrest warrant was issued for Nicholas
Johnson and he posted $30,000 bond on December 11, 2020. An initial hearing is
scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2020, at 8:30AM in the Huntington Circuit
Court.

The Huntington County Prosecutor’s Office wishes to protect the integrity of the
judicial process and the identity of the victim. We understand members of the
press and our community desire factual information about the criminal charges
alleged against Nicholas Johnson. The Prosecutor’s Office can only provide
limited information to the public because prosecutors must adhere to rules of
professional conduct and not release information that could materially prejudice
the legal proceedings to ensure the victim and the defendant receive a fair trial.
