Mr. Baguisa:

This is in connection with the complaint of our client CRISANTO

SANTOS appertaining to an incident that transpired on February 12,
2023 at Brgy. Tabuating, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, involving a
motor vehicle registered under your name. Said incident, as you have
already been informed, killed his father Elpidio Santos, Jr. and his
brother Antonio Santos.

Because of the said incident, the heirs of the victims, as represented

by our client, suffered pecuniary loss and moral sufferings.

However, the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Nueva Ecija

issued a Resolution dated June 30, 2023 dismissing the criminal
complaint of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Double Homicide
filed against you. On the other hand, the Investigating Prosecutor
included in the said Resolution the following:

“Being the case, respondent would not be

held criminally liable but only civil as the case
may be.”

Hence, formal and final demand is hereby made upon you to

communicate with our client and pay whatever is due to the heirs of
the victim within FIVE (5) DAYS from receipt of this letter,
otherwise we shall have no alternative but to commence the
appropriate civil action in court.
