TASK NO. : Gas Leak Sealing

SECTION :
APPLICABLE POSITIONS :

STANDARD : This must be communicated to all workers and should sign.

EQUIPMENT:
 Gloves, goggles, cleaning supplies, testing apparatus, welding machines, respiratory apparatus.

PROCEDURE:

 Put on protective gloves and goggles.

 Identity and mark where there’s a leak.
 Implement a lockout system which is to make sure that all critical valves are closed.
 Test if the leak is continuing
 Welding operator to ensure that all welding machines are inspected and safe for use.
 Welding to be conducted under supervision.
 Collect all waste materials generated and dispose to the right place.
 Test for any leaks.

TIPS AND TRICKS:

 All inspections must be properly carried out after the work has been done.
