The Department of Health (DOH) Collier has acquired a mobile unit to provide COVID-19
testing and this week the mobile unit will include a testing location on Marco Island. On
Thursday, December 17, 2020, COVID-19 testing will be available at Veterans’
Community Park between 9:00am – 1:00pm.

The mobile testing will be operating as a walk-up testing site in the southwest corner of
the parking lot with the line running through the park. Individuals wanting to receive a
COVID-19 test must wear a mask while waiting in line. It is recommended that
individuals bring a chair and umbrella if needed, as well as snacks and water, as the line
may be long. There will be approximately 450 tests available.

No referral is needed for testing and clients do not need to have symptoms. Each
person being tested will be asked to provide their name, contact phone number, address
and date of birth. The DOH-Collier call center is open Monday-Sunday from 9:00am –
5:00pm and can be reached at 239-252-6220 for any COVID-19 related questions.
Heavy rain, gusty winds or lightning may postpone or cancel testing.
