Re: Your IELTS Test
I am writing to confirm your registration for IELTS for UKVI Test and to give you some important
information about our test day procedures. Please read the following information carefully.
Your test schedule is:
Colonades Hotel
We will ensure that all test venues are thoroughly cleaned prior to the start of the test. For Computer-delivered IELTS tests, we
will also clean all the equipment between sessions.
You are currently in self-quarantine or
You have been in contact with any person suspected of having been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days or
You have a cold, fever, shortness of breath or have flu-like symptoms.
If any of the above applies to you, please contact the centre by email as soon as possible and we will arrange a transfer to
another test date.
You will be asked to sign a self-declaration form that covers the three statement above.
You will be requested to sanitise your hands prior to entering the test room either by washing them with soap and water
or using a hand sanitiser.
You will be required to adhere to 2 metres social distancing rules at the exam venue.
You will be required to wear a mask at the exam venue in areas and at times indicated by the Test Day Personnel. You
may be requested to remove the mask for identification or other purposes.
You may also wear latex gloves if you wish to do so.
Exam staff will be wearing face masks/visor shields and latex gloves throughout the whole session.
You can register for your written tests from 07:00am. Because registration and security checks take time, please arrive
promptly. Test takers who arrive after 8:45am may not be allowed to take the test.
· Your international passport. (This must be the one used for registration, and it must be valid on the test day)
· Your confirmation mail (You need for registration before entry to the test room)
· Water in clear transparent bottle (without a label) – optional (if required by test taker)
· A face mask that covers your mouth and nose – mandatory,
· Latex gloves – optional,
Try not to bring any other personal belongings or valuables as the British Council does not accept liability for safekeeping
personal belongings while you take the tests. Furthermore, we do not allow candidates to take their mobile phones and
watches into the test room for security reasons.

held responsible for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If the delivery of results is disrupted, cancelled
or delayed we will make every effort to resume normal services as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited
to the refund of the registration fee or re-testing at a later date.
Other Information:
· Arrive in good time for the written test with the items you must have on test day.
· The COVID-19 test day briefing and Declaration form will be shared with you for your perusal as you will be required to sign
the declaration on test day.
