NOTE: Pancho measures 30 cm approximately. Of course should you choose a different hook
or yarn calling, measures will vary.

Materials:
- 3.00 mm crochet hook
- 100 % cotton yarn for a 3.00 mm hook
- 4.00 mm crochet hook
- 100% cotton yarn for a 4.00 mm hook (this is for the cowl!)

- Polyfiber fill for stuffing (You can also place a rattle inside!)
- Tapestry needle

Colors:
- One color for the body of your dog.
- One color for the ears and tail.
- A bit of brown or black to embroider the eyes.

- One color for the cowl. IMPORTANT! This yarn should be thicker, for a 4 mm crochet
hook.

Abbreviations:

Body:

1. Magic ring of 6 sc
2. Crochet *2 sc in each st*, repeat * (12)
3. to 5. Crochet 12 sc
6. Crochet *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st (increase)*, repeat * (18)
7. Crochet 8 sc, 1 increase in the next 2 stitches and, finally, 8 sc (20)
8. Crochet 9 sc, *1 increase in the next sitch, 1 sc in the following stitch*, repeat * twice
and, finally, 7 sc (22)
9. Crochet 10 sc, 1 increase in the next sitch, 1 sc in the following 2 stitches, 1 increase in

Close the remaining stitches through the back loops. Break the yarn and leave a long tail

3. Crochet *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st (increase)*, repeat * (18)
4. Crochet *2 sc, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat * (24)
5. to 10. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch (24)
11. Crochet *2 sc, one decrease*, repeat * (18)
12. to 14. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch (18)
15. Crochet *1 sc, one decrease*, repeat * (12)

18. Press the opening with your fingers and crochet together, with sc, both opposing
sides (6 sc).
Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew the ears to the head.

Tail

1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 4 sc in the second chain from hook.
2. Crochet *2 sc in each stitch*, repeat * (8)
3. to 7. Crochet 8 sc
{Do not stuff the tail…}

Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew the tail to the body.

Snout
{Using the same color you used for the ears…}
1. Make 2 chain stitches. Crochet 4 sc in the second chain from hook.
2. Crochet *2 sc in each stitch*, repeat * (8)
3. Crochet 8 sc
{Do not stuff it…}

Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew the snout to the head.

Cowl
{Using the color of your choice...}
IMPORTANT! Remember to use a thicker yarn and your 4.00 cm crochet hook!
1. Chain 6 ch stitches. Starting from the second chain from hook, crochet 1 sc in
each remaining ch stitch (5 sc)
2. to 26. Chain 1 and turn. ONLY THROUGH BACK LOOPS, crochet 5 sc
To close the circle of the scarf, sew both ends together with a few stitches using your
tapestry needle or crocheting 5 slst joining together the stitches on both ends.

Assembly
- Sew the ears to the sides of the head.
- Sew the paws to the body.

- Sew the tail to the end of the body.
- Sew the snout to the tip of the head.
- Place the cowl around the neck of your dog.
- Weave in all ends.
