JOHN MATTHEW DELA PENA

AB COM1

a. How did the video affect me?

It affects me through Rizal dedication on his passion to help her mother from its illness

and our country. He travelled many countries just to have better knowledge in his profession

as. The content gives me a lot of information when it comes to our heroes name Jose Rizal.

It affect me on how we need to respect the name “Rizal” but not because of it is his name, it

is Rizal who gave us a history and being our National Hero. . It gives me a broad idea when

it comes to the countries that Rizal’s visited for his studies. It gives me motivation to do

what I want in my life, he will be my inspiration. It affects my point of view as a person

having a chance to do what I want in my life, even in hard situation I need to fight for it.

Rizal was able to focus and give a lot of attention for his studies, but now as a young

individual I Confiteor that sometimes technology is one of the reasons why we can’t focus

on what we are doing. It also affect my emotion on what I see right now in the society, that

even in our country we are experiencing discrimination. All in all I’m happy because even

Rizal’s felt discrimination in his own country, he was able to give history and freedom to

our beloved country.

b. What did I learn from the video clip?

I learned that we need to be strong for our dreams, we need to conquer all the

challenges in our life because it is the only way to succeed. I learned that we need to be

thankful on what we are now, because we are lucky to have a life in this world. We need to

value people that are there when we need the most. Learned to appreciate things even it is a

small deed that gave us. I learned that Rizal is only a simple student in that year, wants to

finish his studies. I also got in the video that we don’t need to be perfect and excellent in all

things. We need to be real in our self like Rizal’s do. Rizal’s give me another motivation to

pursue what I want in life. Rizal was the type of person who I admired. It also gives me

ideas on how Rizal’s interact with other nationalities and giving time for himself just to

enjoy everything in every country that he visited. I admire him because of his courage and

dedication just to give our country a name that can reflects as a True Filipino. I also learned

that despite of hardships, we need to continue our dreams and desire just like Rizal, who

sacrifices time and effort just to further his knowledge for being a doctor. Rizal able to

complete his books despite of hardship that until now are being an inspiration for everyone.
