1. Watch the video "Pag-aaral ni Rizal sa Ateneo".

Answer the following questions:

a. What could be the reason why Rizal's father Don Francisco enrolled him in Ateneo?

For me I think Don Francisco wants to take away Rizal from the Kastila, then

he push Ateneo for Rizal. He wants Rizal to Study in Ateneo because of knowing the safety of

Rizal in that school. Rizal is the first student in Ateneo who used the surname “Rizal”. In

other way Don Francisco knows the Danger for Rizal, If he will continue studying in Letran.

b. Discuss the reason why Rizal was almost denied admission at Ateneo?

Rizal’s Admission at Ateneo was almost denied because he is late in the

Registr/ation for all the first year college student, Rizal is a kind of person easy to have an

illness, lastly Rizals was too small for his age.

a. How did the video affect me?

The video affects me through my personal feeling, Rizal wants to study

Medicine at Santo Tomas not because of his own sake. Rizal studied at Santo Tomas
 because of her mother, that time Rizal know that her mother will be blind. Rizal knows

as our one

of the bravest hero in history but he tells us that he is a loving Son who will do

everything for his family.

b.What did I learn from the videoclip?

I learned that Rizal is a humble student like his classmates, I also got in the

video that we don’t need to be perfect and excellent in all things. We need to be real in

our self like Rizal’s do. Rizal’s give me another motivation to pursue what I want in

life. Rizal was the type of person who I admired.

a.How did the video affect me?

The video truly affects my knowledge, it gives me information that I never

hear. It was also gave me a chance to see the hidden treasures of UST history.

UST was my dream school but then we have a lot of challenges facing right now,

but knowing someday I will have my Privilege to Enter UST and explore it’s

Beautiful history. It affects my Insight when it comes to our history, oh how Rizal

manage his college life on that Era. It really inspired me and at the same time it

gives me the message that we have to explore our world. It affects me knowing

that I have a lot of things didn’t know when it comes from to our History and

Heroes and their Journey.

b.What did I learn from the videoclip?

I learned that Rizal is only a simple student in that year, and the video shows

me on how UST cares all the books about in the history of Philippines even in books in

medicine and etc. I learned to value things that I have, even it is getting an old, I need

to keep it and protect. I also learned that the Community of UST really Treasured all

that books and things from our past and History. The video giving knowledge and

information in public.
