1. the important persons that influenced Rizal in his early education Of all the persons
who had the best influence on Rizal’s development as an individual was his mother
Teodora Alonso. it was she who opened his eyes and heart to the globe around with
all its soul and poetry, further as its bigotry and injustice. Throughout his brief life,
Rizal proved to be his mother’s son, a break off the old block, as he constantly strove
to stay faithful in the teachings she taught him.

My own interpretation on the “Story of the Moth” A man is asking a moth why he is trying
to break into an electric light bulb when the moth could easily kill himself on it.The moth
answers that fire is beautiful. He then says that he would rather have one moment of
beauty and happiness and then be dead than live a long life and have no beauty or
happiness. After saying that, the moth decides to go and fry himself on a cigar lighter while
the man wonders why the moth would like to fry himself so badly. "The Story of
the Moth" teaches us about all the points which are mentioned above in the question.
Basically, it has numerous moral life lessons including listening to our elders who are more
experienced than us, never tell a lie throughout our life, never give up in our painful times
as it makes us stronger.
