What are the most benefits of effective
communication?

Effective doctor-patient communication is a central clinical


function, and the resultant communication is the heart and
art of medicine and a central component in the delivery of
health care
What are the most effective means of
establishing initial rapport with the patiens?

 The initial contact with the patient is vital.


 Doctors should take time to greet their patients to
break the distance between them and their patients
especially during their first visit.
 Patients understands warmth and sympathy delivered
by their doctors better than their conditions.
 This will facilitate the encounter.
