Work scope;

 Traveling to and from worksite.


 Maintenance work on machinery of client.
 Disassembly and remounting of parts of machinery which are due for overhaul or
damaged.
 Trouble tracing at clients site.
 Maintaining service reports and filling out various administrative forms concerning
subject machineries.
 Cleaning and taking care of his or hers tools and machineries to companies standard.

Reports to: Workshop Foreman

Complexity:

This function is mainly focused on repairs, maintenance and remanufacturing of a certain kind
of machineries, having a wide spread of techniques. Changes regularly from one technique to
the other, certain facets of the work will need a great deal of accuracy. Working under time
pressure will occur on a regular basis. The knowledge has to be equal to GCE technical level or
proven experience for at least two years.

Responsibilities;

Works according to given planned schedules. Plans urgent matters him of herself, sometimes
after consulting the management. Makes repairs or overhaul work him or herself and judges
him or herself what needs to be repaired or changed. Works at client locations without
supervision of the management. The problems can vary from in technical aspects, however are
mostly in accordance with training and level of experience. The contacts with colleagues and
others about the job are focused on a swift fulfillment of the work.

Risk assessment:

Faults in judgment of approach can result in hours of extra work, but also in anger, stress and
impatience with the client. Can do harm on the continuity of the relation with the client. Can do
serious harm to machineries and or operations of the client. The regular contacts with the
clients have to be swift, sometimes some persuasion is needed.

Physical aspects:

Does sometimes work under bad circumstances, in bad weather and wind with sometimes
hinder of other ongoing activities. Works now and then on hard to reach places and in difficult
physical positions. Has to carry heavy loads on a regular basis. Faces the chances of injury
(tension and moving parts, explosive and chemical materials) and a higher risk by working on
ladders and staging.
