4.1 Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary KL

a) Background,
Formerly, known as Sanctuary Care Centre is a Private Independent Welfare
Organization founded in 15th April 2003 by Late Rev. Dr .Mary Rayapan.
They are running these homes with faith in God and donations collected from
good hearted individuals, well-wishers, philanthropists and a couple of
Corporate Organizations. It is a foster home for children from poor families,
dysfunction families, single parents and full orphans. Children’s age range
from 1 month to 19 years old, educational and other activities are carried out
in the Home with the assistance of voluntary and full time staff.

b) Why we choose this home,

Their total monthly expenses exceeds RM 32,590,000. They are providing
needs for children who are without parents, who are abused/ abandoned/
neglected by parents who themselves are in need of help,due to alcohol, drugs
or illness, and who are underprivileged and whose parents have no capability
whatsoever to maintain their children. We would like to lend a hand for them
and help whatever we possibly could. We wish to create a better life for them.

c) What we will do,

We will donate some daily necessities such as clothes, books, food and cash.

d) When we will do,

We will invite a representative from the home to attend our masquerade ball
on 19 July 2019 and we will give our donations to them.
4.2 Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua

a) Background,
The administrator of Ampang Welfare Committee is Tan Sri Chow Poh
Kheng. This welfare is located at Jalan Merdeka Kampung Baru Ampang.
There are total of 50 old folks at the home.

b) Why we choose the home,

It’s a non-profit organization and we would like to do our best to help as much
as we could. They are looking after the old folks who have been abandoned /
neglected by their children, do not have time to look after their parents and
also because the children do not want their parents to feel lonely by being at
home alone and they decide to send them to the old folks and by doing so they
won’t feel lonely as there are people to talk with. We would like to spend
some time with them and also help them stay emotionally engaged, help us
create new experiences and memories for the future.

c) What will we do,

We will spend time with them by entertaining and talk stories. We would like
to spend some time with them and also help them stay emotionally engaged,
help us create new experiences and memories for the future.

d) When will we do,

We are doing it on the 16th July 2019 afternoon from 1pm – 4pm.
