Installing USB Serial Driver [Windows 7]

1. Click “Start Menu”, type “Device Manager” on “Search program and file type”.

2. Open “Device Manager” to make sure USB Serial Driver Installed or not.

Note: This is an indication for USB Serial Driver not installed.

3. Download the USB Serial Driver.

4. Extract zip file and open installer file “PL2303-Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1200”.

5. Click Next and waiting installation process until finish.
6. Select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” and click Finish to restart PC/Laptop.
7. Try to plug in the K-125R AVR programmer and make sure installation driver is success like
picture below.
