2 ) Brief useful infomation of  SAP Simple Finance

SAP Financial and Controlling module (one of the core modules of SAP from its R / 2 days) is a fairly mature
offering with impressive width and depth. But over the years the world has changed. New financial regulations
around the world, we must change. There is also a need for quick financial reports lightning. The data world is
changing rapidly, and financial operations must deal with huge amounts of data processed at higher speeds and
give it meaning.

Considering this and taking advantage of its platform HANA-high performance, SAP made its financial and next
level control module by launching "Simple Finance" (short shuttering Finco) with SAP Business Suite 4 HANA (ie
S / 4 HANA)). And in doing so, SAP not only eliminated some of the short comings (the traditional FICO Module),
but also packed with some powerful new features.

The only source of truth -

In Simple Finance, SAP introduced a new table named 'ACDOCA' for universal Journal. It permits the general
accounting data, Asset Accounting, Ledger, Controlling (including the block coding and CO-PA) in an academic
journal. By this a masterstroke, SAP has overcome the need for reconciliation (FI & CO) overcame the need for
regulation (all cost elements, including secondary cost elements are accounts G / L) and made disappear with
index tables / tables of aggregate data.

Index tables deleted - BSIS, BSAS, BSID, SSB, BSIK, BSAK, BSIM, FAGLBSIS, FAGLBSAS
Tables removed aggregates - GLT0, GLT3, FAGLFEXT, KNC1, LFC1, KNC3, KFC3, COSS, COSIP
Tables removed - FAGLFLEXA, EPCC, ANEP, ASNA, ANLC, ANLP, MLIT
Ledger - tables Content MLIT, FNPP, MLPPF, mlcR, MLCRF, MLCD, CKMI1, BSIM are now stored in ACDOCA. MLHD
data is stored in BKPF
Focus will be on CO-PA account base

The log entry consists of a header (stored in table BKPF) and items (stored in the array ACDOCA). (Table BSEG
product continuously. But it stores articles from conventional FI postings as FB01, FB50, FB60, FB70 etc.)

ACDOCA provides a field of 6 digits for the line point document numbers and 23 characters for the currency field. It
offers multi-GAAP capability with "RLDNR" dimension (in GL Accounting Ledger)

Profit center accounting (PCA), Sp. Purpose Ledger (FI-SL), and Consolidation (EC-CS) remain intact and function
as before. Components built with FI-SL technology as joint venture accounting and the public sector are intact and
work as before. CO-PA based on the cost works as before.

The ACDOCA design provides the highest level of granularity for users. It allows the trial balance with many drill-
downs into account, and also provides multi-dimensional result.

SFINE allows the processing and analysis of data based on positions rather than total pre-configured, so that you
can achieve the highest level of granularity available. In addition, you must not establish aggregates before
evaluating the data, which limits the type of analysis that you can do and speed of analysis. With SAP HANA, you

User Experience -
Fiori is the experience of the SAP user paradigm. It allows queries based on roles (with drill-down and slice-and-
dice capabilities with graphical representation) on all devices (desktops, tab, mobile phones). Designer of the
launch table allows user customization. SFINE comes with some queries ready to use that work without any
configuration. We can add other (custom) queries / tiles with minimal effort.

Reporting functions -
Guests can use the dashboards based on new Fiori layout options, SAP Smart Business Apps, SAP analysis for
Office and SAP HANA and the new live content Sfin HANA Live.
As required, reports can be built in HANA studio, or via the integrated BW. It depends on customer requirements
standard for how content should be (re) used relative custom built.

Simple Finance users will experience much higher execution speeds, in some cases as high as 1000x. It eliminates
bottlenecks in the closing process, eliminates the time and effort required for reconciliation. The new architecture
also eliminates data redundancy and reducing the foot print data drastically. The new tools of the user interface
such as Fiori, analysis Excel Office will revolutionize the user experience. Instant improvement were observed in
operational performance and the closure process that were seen to be 5X faster than before.

Simple Finance enables SAP customers to perform trial balance sheets, P & L and cash flow analysis at any time of
day and day of the quarter. The granular design allows trial balance with many drill-downs into account, and also
provides multi-dimensional result.

Migration -
Organizations SAP (SAP traditional FICO Module) can migrate to Simple Finance (SFINE 2.0) following way -
Those on New GL can migrate directly to SFINE.
Those on classic GL, must first migrate to New GL (bare minimum functionality not need splitting or parallel
register document) and then switch to SFINE.
This migration happens only by SPRO and does not need (ie ABAP / 4) technical assistance.

This migration is not to be confused with using "central component of Finance" (which helps in transferring data
distributed ERP landscape and even non-SAP ERP, using SLT - SAP Landscape Transformation)

Deployment options -
Currently SFINE edition is available on-site SFINE 2.0 (1503) only. But as SAP is chalking his aggressive coverage
strategy, it is only a matter of time before its availability in editing Cloud.
