Your essay should cover:
1. What is core housing why core housing became a solution for middle to low- income people to build their house 2. How market and economy have a role in housing ownership and access 3. How technology in housing will provide better housing for everyone.
Core housing is a concept of dwelling that can provide a minimum liveable
space and has the ability to be extended subsequently in an incremental manner according to the occupants needs as they are able. Core housing provide a solution for middle to low-income people to build their house. This is because core housing is an alternative way to provide affordable shelter for lower income people in housing projects around the cities of less developed areas. Core housing also allows the occupants to get a house with minimum liveable space which can be adjusted afterward incrementally in the future. In short, core housing helps low-income people to own a house. The house is built based on the initial budget of the occupants which can be adjusted in the future if the occupants already have more budget.
When people buy or sell houses, either to live in or as an investment, we refer
to this as the housing market. A house is the most valuable thing many people will ever own. The housing market is closely linked to consumer spending. When house prices go up, homeowners become better off and feel more confident. Some people will borrow more against the value of their home, either to spend on goods and services, renovate their house, supplement their pension, or pay off other debt. When house prices go down, homeowners risk that their house will be worth less than their outstanding mortgage. People are therefore more likely to cut down on spending and hold off from making personal investments.
In industry and technology sectors, interactive parametric design cannot be
understood and implemented effectively. By creating an interactive website, consumers will able to design their own house by determining the number of rooms, materials, colours, layout and other things. The structure will then be confirmed with the selected geometric shape components using digital and robotic fabrication. The obstacle to implementing such a design and production system is the fact that the consumers may not be ready to take responsibility for the house they have designed.
