 1. Introduction
This document describes general Method of procedure for Link spacing channel, modulation
change.
1.1 Scope.

Link Congestion and Packet capacity upgrade on KABEZA-BUSANZA

2. Activity Details

 Health check performance

 Save TN report and print screen data
 Change spacing channel, modulation according to new Link Budget Plan
 Confirm Packet Capacity Upgrade improvement

 Maximum expected outage: 3 hours

5. Service Impact during implementation

5.1 Downtime

1. K057 BUSANZA, K250 NYARUGUNGA, K438 URUKUNDO 2G and 3G Going down

during activity

6. Post activity requisites

o MTN Engineer to support in Monitoring the nodes during the day

o MTN Engineer to support in case of any issues or emergencies caused by post activity

7. Roll back Procedure

 Roll back to initial set up.

 Check the status of the link and all alarms if cleared/OK.

 Confirm with NOC if all the services are restored.
