Class Reflection
This geography class has allowed me to become more familiar with other countries
around the world and have a better idea of what’s going on in places I’ve never been to. My
favorite place that we covered was South America and the countries inside. My family is from
Peru, so any chance I get to learn more about the countries around it, I absolutely love doing.
Venezuela was a very important one to me. We learned about the political crisis going on right
there and I feel like learning about what’s going on over there is necessary. Truly terrifying stuff
that they are going through and more people need to know about it. I’m thrilled this class
What I really enjoyed about the class is the structure of the modules. Very
straightforward but effective at following what’s being taught. I loved all the videos provided
and the pages of the textbook we could take notes on. I really enjoyed how everything was
structured and presented to the student, very approachable and the structure doesn’t scare the
student away with an overwhelming amount of work. I guess the only thing that somewhat
frustrated me was the lack of connection with the teacher, I felt like I didn’t know the teacher
very well and it would have been nice to have a stronger connection. I think what I would have
liked to see is not only more interaction with the teacher but more interaction with the students.
Rather than have a Q and A forum that is optional, maybe make it an assignment to talk with

other students in the class about whats being taught. I think that would really help motivate
students and give them something/someone to look forward to connecting within the class.
Overall I really did enjoy the layout of this class and how the lessons were structured.
Really fun learning about foreign places and seeing how other people are living around the
world.
