that I'm helping set up these kids' futures brings me joy. I've always loved being around children
since watching my siblings grow up. Being the role model for them taught me that I wanted to
grow up and do the same for other kids. The field observation really helped me realize what it'll
be like once I am a teacher. Seeing how the room was set up made me see how I wanted to do
mine. Watching the teacher get the attention and go out of the way to help them further succeed
in life is what I really got from the field observation. I asked lots of questions that I was always
When I think of historical events, I think of the future. I think about when these kids turn adults,
they'll look back at their youth and will think of me and how it affected their lives and taught
them their everyday skills. To me personally, that is historical enough due to the fact that these
kids could make such a positive change in the world. A historical event that did affect me for
wanting to become a teacher was the no child left behind act that president Bush implemented in
2001. Learning about this act made me realize how important being a teacher is. It made me
realize that kids are very dependable on their teachers especially when they have to pass an
important test. ITs the teachers job to feed them the right information in order to do good and
I will 100% be implementing the behavioral chart. The behavior chart is a 5 panel based chart
based on the behavior the student has during class. The pin moves on how the student is
behaving as for, green meaning the student was being very well outspoken in class and being
helpful to others. Red meaning they have been badly misspoken and being aggressive towards
others. As for, I will have charts for homework and classwork all around the classroom. Also, I
want to have boards all around so that you can come in and learn something new just by looking
around the room. Growing up in a very well income home and a very less fortunate
neighborhood has made me realize how much it can really affect a child. It taught me that every
kid doesn't have the same start as others. It makes going to school and their everyday life harder
than others. Therefore, sometimes it makes kids have homelife and family problems more
difficult so they can barely focus on school work. I want to make my classroom a safe place and
have plenty of time to do their classwork and homework in class. As for student diversity, I
understand that each individual is unique and I want my students to recognize our differences but
overcome it and see that we are all unique in our differences. Variability applies to students who
are obviously struggling and those who seem to be thriving. All students are unique in how they
learn and as a teacher it's going to take some time to see how each of my students learn. I don’t
think that giving my students a lot of homework is going to help them learn better. I am going to
provide handouts so they can write them down in their notebook from everything we learned that
day which will all be on their homework at the end of the day. I'm going to help them as much as
I can so they can really understand what they're being taught so they can be successful in my
class.
For this career, you need to be very good at listening and watching your students to see if they're
struggling or not. Also, being very good at communication will help to see if they're having a
hard time. I need to be very organized with my handouts and what I'm teaching everyday so I can
be successful in making them learn everything they need to in my class. I need to be very patient
because every student has different abilities of learning. Everybody goes at a different pace and
Every student could learn at a different pace which is why it is important to make sure each
student truly understands each topic. This is why I will take my time with each subject so all my
students can take a minute and I can see if anybody is struggling and not understanding.
